A new report from Deadline breaks down the purported season 4 salaries for its all-star cast of characters. The main cast, from creator Quinta Brunson to newest series regular William Stanford Davis, are all reportedly set to enjoy a nice pay raise for the new school year—with increases doubling and sometimes tripling their previous pay.
Quinta Brunson
Show creator Quinta Brunson is reportedly set to receive a bump in her acting salary this season. Deadline reports that the Emmy winner will earn between $350,000 and $400,000 per episode this season for her role as young teacher Janine Teagues. Brunson also has an overall deal at Warner Bros. TV that will cover her work as executive producer on the series.
Tyler James Williams
Tyler James Williams, who won a Golden Globe for his role as teacher Gregory Eddie, will reportedly be earning $250,000 per episode in season 4.
Sheryl Lee Ralph
Emmy winner Sheryl Lee Ralph is reportedly set to see a $250,000 per episode salary this season for her role as good-natured teacher Barbara Howard.
Janelle James
Comedian Janelle James, who plays wacky principal Ava Coleman on the show, will reportedly be earning $200,000 per episode this season.
