Outdoor concert season is just ahead, and tickets for the Gardens on Spring Creek summer concert series go on sale starting April 9-12.

This year's lineup includes four concerts in June, July and August featuring familiar acts.

  • Saturday, June 29: The Guess Who. Their hits from the 1960s and '70s include "American Woman," "These Eyes" and "No Time." (It's worth noting that the current band includes one member of the original band. Two of the founding members are suing two others over how the group is being promoted.)

  • Saturday, July 20: Béla Fleck, Zakir Hussain, Edgar Meyer, featuring Rakesh Chaurasia: As We Speak. Fleck, Hussain and Meyer bring their individual backgrounds in bluegrass, Indian classical and Western classical music, respectively, together.

  • Saturday, Aug. 3: Ben Folds and The Fort Collins Symphony. Folds is an Emmy-award nominated composer, singer-songwriter and pianist whose work includes pop albums with Ben Folds Five and solo albums.

  • Saturday, Aug. 10: Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers. Hornsby is best known for his hit "The Way It Is," from his 1986 debut Grammy-winning album.

Doors open at 5 p.m., with shows beginning at 6 p.m. at the Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Ave.
