Hoda Kotb Surprised by 'Fantastic' 60th Birthday Gift From Parade

Hoda Kotb celebrated her 60th birthday on Friday, Aug. 9, and Parade made sure to treat her to something sweet.

As a Parade magazine cover star several times, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to honor the Today personality for all her hard work–on camera and off!

So, in just 24 hours, Abbey, a local New York City baker best known online as Angelbaked, created a beautiful box of cookies that were a near replica of the many photo shoots she's posed for with the brand.

When Parade delivered the treats to the birthday girl during her big birthday bash on the Plaza down at NBC studios on Monday, she could hardly contain her excitement. After briefly glancing at the box of sweets, Kotb said in astonishment, "Oh my god."

"I can't believe you guys did that," she added. "This is fantastic. I can't believe she did that."

Admiring the cookies, Kotb said she knew her girls would "love them," but still, joked, "We can't eat these. We're going to have to save them forever."

We're not the only ones celebrating the all-star media personality with surprise gifts, as her Today show colleagues kept all the details of her on-air birthday party a secret until the big day.

During the morning special, Kotb was met with an emotional reunion with a few people whose lives she inspired and impacted the most–a gift from producers which she called "too much" as she held back tears.

Her Today co-star Jenna Bush Hager also surprised her with a gift that left her nearly speechless: a custom painting from her father, former president George W. Bush, inspired by Kotb's favorite photo of her two daughters.
