Hulu is creating a real-life Seinfeld apartment in New York
Rejoice, Seinfeld fans! You’ll finally be able to see what secret cereal boxes are hidden in Jerry’s other cabinets. Hulu announced Thursday that they’re creating a replica of the star’s iconic Upper West Side apartment to promote the show’s debut on the streaming giant.
“Seinfeld is one of those rare shows that continues to influence pop culture to this day,” said Hulu’s head of marketing Jenny Wall in a statement, “so what better way to launch its streaming debut than to celebrate the fans and give them a chance to relive the scenes from some of the most iconic moments in TV history?”
“Seinfeld: The Apartment” will last from June 24, to coincide with the Hulu launch, to June 28 and boasts everything a die-hard fan would want: props, rare memorabilia, and a set-up to barge in a la Kramer. It’s real, and it sounds spectacular.
The pop-up is free and will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. For those who want to make a quick jaunt to Monk’s, enjoy the 100-block journey north! The address for the apartment is:
451 W. 14th St.
New York, NY 10014
