‘Incoming’ Takes Over Netflix As Streamer’s Most-Watched Weekly Title; ‘Worst Ex Ever’ Tops TV
Netflix’s latest comedy film Incoming was at the top of its class in its first full week on the streamer, racking up 16.9M views. That’s up 71% from its debut weekend to make it the most-watched title of the week.
Halle Berry and Mark Wahlberg’s The Union stuck around on the English-language film list for another week as well, this time coming in second place. Its 16.8M views put it neck-and-neck with first place, but it experienced a steep decrease in viewership compared to the week prior, when it tallied more than 40M views.

The Deliverance took a minute to catch audiences’ attention since premiering on August 16, but this week it finally broke through the noise with 14.5M views, which was good enough for third place.
No other films on Netflix could compete this week, with fourth place going to the Nigerian film Tòkunbò, which managed 5.3M views. That’s a strong showing for the regional film, though it does put a large gap between third and fourth place viewership for the week.
On the TV side of things, documentaries — especially true crime — have been performing well. Worst Ex Ever took No. 1 with 8.4M views. American Murder: Laci Peterson came in third place, managing another week in the Top 10 with 4.1M views.
It’s a bit of a slow week for TV, as Emily in Paris Season 4A has begun to lose a bit of momentum, only tallying 6.5M views this week, more than halving its audience from the week prior. Part 2 is set to debut on September 12, which will surely put some pep back in the series’ step.
In fourth place was Charlie Cowell’s comedy series KAOS, which debuted with 3.4M views.
Meanwhile, on the non-English film front, it appears Under Paris has lost its bid for first place on that most popular list. With its 91-day premiere window officially over, the film settles into second place with just over 101M views, just behind Troll‘s 103M.
