‘Incredible blessing’: Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez just met with the pope in Italy

We can say with almost 100 percent certainty that Jeff Bezos and fiancée Lauren Sanchez are having a better summer vacation than you are.

The Miami Beach couple’s lavish Eurotrip has included triple dating with Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and Leonardo Dicaprio and his model du jour Vittoria Ceretti on the Amazon founder’s superyacht Koru. The A-list crew then partied on the island of Sardinia at Nikki Beach, which has a sister restaurant in SoBe.

Next up on the glamorous getaway before heading back to Billionaire Bunker: a meeting with Pope Francis himself at the Vatican in Rome.

Bezos and Sanchez sat down with the 87-year-old pontiff on Thursday at the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church.

Sanchez, who has been known to raise eyebrows for some “inappropriate” fashion choices (with some even wondering if she broke White House protocol), dressed for the occasion, in a conservative black blazer and skirt.

“His wisdom, warmth, and humor were deeply touching,” the former “Extra” reporter wrote of Francis. “He reminded us not to take life too seriously, a simple yet powerful reminder to keep lightness in our hearts.”

Sanchez, who is the vice chair of the Bezos Earth Fund and spoke at the Aspen Ideas conference in Miami Beach back in March, revealed that the three also discussed the topic of climate change.

“His belief in finding beauty and meaning in everything we do resonated deeply with me,” concluded the caption. “Grateful for this incredible blessing and the gentle wisdom he shared with us.”
