Ever since Robert F. Kennedy Jr, better known as RFK Jr, came into the spotlight again in 2024, everyone has been itching to know everything there is to know about the Kennedy family. While it seems as though we know everything there is to know about JFK and Jackie Kennedy, everyone’s been itching to know the details about the rest of the family, specifically RFK Jr’s children.
RFK Jr has six children in total. He shares two children with his first wife Emily Ruth Black, whom he met in law school. They married in 1982 and welcomed two children named Robert Francis “Bobby” Kennedy III, born in 1984, and Kathleen Alexandra “Kick” Kennedy Jr, born in 1988.
The pair divorced in 1994, and in that same year, he remarried with Mary Kathleen Richardson. They welcomed four children named Conor Richardson Kennedy, born in 1994, Kyra LeMoyne Kennedy, born in 1995, William Finbar “Finn” Kennedy, born in 1997, and Aidan Caohman Vieques Kennedy, born in 2001. Robert filed for divorce from Richardson in 2010, and later, she tragically died by suicide in 2012.
So obviously, people want to know the details about these kids. However, despite their esteemed last name and wealthy upbringing, most of RFK JR’s kids are super private.

Robert Francis “Bobby” Kennedy III
Robert Francis “Bobby” Kennedy III is a bit more private than his younger siblings. Born in 1984, Bobby has done a few film projects in the past decade like directing, writing, and starring in the 2021 film Fear and Loathing in Aspen. Along with that, he played the role of Charlie in Eurotrapped, which he wrote, and also wrote and directed the documentary ELEW: Live from Infinity.
He and his wife Amaryllis Fox wed in 2018 at the Kennedy Compound on Cape Cod after dating for around a year, per People, and in 2019, they welcomed their daughter named Bobby and in Sept 2021, they welcomed a son named Cassius Watts Thoreau. Fox also has a daughter from a previous relationship named Zo? Victoria.
RFK Jr has proudly showed off his granddaughter and posted quite a few photos from Bobby’s wedding, so it seems their relationship is quite solid.
Kathleen Alexandra (“Kick”) Kennedy
Like her big brother Bobby, Kathleen Alexandra (“Kick”) Kennedy, born 1988, has the acting bug! She’s acted in a few projects since 2011, including her brother’s 2021 film, but has mainly worked in philanthropy. And when you take a peek at her Instagram, she’s traveled all around the world, and loves to document it all.
The Stanford grad made headlines in Aug 2024 for her friendship with Ben Affleck.
As for her relationship with RFK Jr, we’ve seen quite a few happy photos of the two on her social media. She hasn’t publicly talked about their relationship, but these sweet photos show their father-daughter bond may be quite strong.
Conor Richardson Kennedy
Born July 25, 1994, Conor Kennedy is the eldest of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Mary Kennedy’s children (but the third eldest total of Robert Jr’s kids)! He’s a musician, activist, and formerly fought on the frontlines of Ukraine.
According to Discogs, he previously released two albums called Somewhere and Live in Utpioa, along with an EP in 2013 called Nothing Lasts: Nothing’s Over. As for his activism, he’s worked on saving the whales and protesting dangerous pipelines.
Back in Oct 2022, he revealed he secretly enlisted in the army to fight for Ukraine in a lengthy response on Instagram.
You may also know him as one of Taylor Swift’s former flames (and the possible inspiration behind her song “Begin Again”), but that was a long time ago, and he’s been happily dating his girlfriend Giulia Be since 2021.
Now his relationship with RFK Jr.? We gather they may be close. Our reasoning? Well, they were arrested together in 2013 while protesting the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline, per People, and most recently, RFK Jr. shouted him out for his birthday on Twitter.
Kyra Lemoyne Kennedy
Born Aug 22, 1995, Kyra Lemoyne Kennedy has been in the news cycle lately after her glamorous social media feed made the viral rounds. Despite a rebellious youth, Kyra has seemed to take on the iconic Kennedy jetsetter life, and frequently travels the world going to fashion shows. The Fashion Institute of Technology alum keeps the details of her personal life on the down-low, much like the rest of her family.
Per Distractify, Kyra may be the most supportive of father RFK Jr. She was reportedly onstage when he officially announced that he was seeking the Democratic presidential nomination.
William Finbar “Finn” Kennedy
Born November 08, 1997, William Finbar “Finn” Kennedy is definitely one of the most private Kennedy family members. Not much is known about him since he wiped all of his social media accounts, but per Broad Biography, he graduated from Brown University with a bachelor’s in history and in 2020, was hired as an analyst at Bailey Capital.
Now his relationship with RFK Jr.? Another mystery we can’t quite solve yet.
Aidan Caohman Vieques Kennedy
Born Jul 13, 2001, Aidan Caohman Vieques Kennedy is both the youngest sibling and one of the most private. While we’ve seen him on his siblings’ Instagrams having some fun in the sun, he keeps his private life as private as can be. However, we do know that he’s held quite a few esteemed positions and internships, and got started with his collegiate career back in Harvard University, per Wowally.
His relationship with RFK Jr? Again, we’re clueless on that.
