Jack Black Looks Nearly Unrecognizable While Spotted on Rare Outing
Jack Black was spotted on a rare public outing in Hollywood this week, and even if you looked closely, you might have missed him!
The School of Rock star was caught on camera in an eclectic mix of patterns, rocking a red tie-dye tee with a flaming animal—possibly a fox—with a pair of multi-color shorts and green and blue tie-dye socks pulled up to his mid-calf. He wore a pair of black sneakers and a black backpack as he spoke on the phone in the Los Angeles area, disguising his face underneath a gray bucket hat, a pair of tinted glasses, and an extra bushy beard.
The photos and video of his casual day out were published by the Daily Mail, showing him crossing the street in his funky 'fit.
The 54-year-old, who shares two kids with his wife, Tanya Haden, has historically been spotted fresh-faced and clean-shaven, so his grown-out beard of varying shades of gray leaves him almost unrecognizable.
Black has been toying with a close shave over the last few years, but it's only recently that he's been letting it grow out several inches.
Recently, Black delighted fans with his own spin on a Britney Spears classic, covering the pop icon's "...Baby One More Time," which left viewers begging him to get back into the studio and record an entire "album of covers," joking that he could switch his band name from Tenacious D to Tenacious B.
"I would love an album that's just jack black covering early 2000s white girl music," another, top-liked comment read.
