The actor discusses his character Eli “Hawk” Moskowitz’s redemption arc, his attachment to his trademark mohawk, and the anxious excitement that comes with Cobra Kai ending. Elsewhere, he talks about getting into character by listening to Deftones and Led Zeppelin, as well as his thoughts on the upcoming Karate Kid movie supposedly not being set in the same universe as Cobra Kai despite featuring Ralph Macchio.
Speaking more on the end of the series, Bertrand shares that he hopes to do more directing in the near future, starting with a monster-based short film.
