James Corden and Jean-Claude Van Damme spark joy with this Tidying Up spoof

Does your home spark joy? If not, get out of Jean-Claude Van Damme‘s way.

James Corden and the Double Impact action star have an alternative zen cleaning method to Marie Kondo’s Tidying Up. “Look around the space,” Corden explains. “Take stock of all of these items. Look at them and think to yourself, ‘Does this spark joy?'”

If yes, the item stays. If not, Corden taps his assistant to karate kick the crap out of the home decor. It’s the James-Cord Van Damme Method.

You already feel more at peace with your surroundings as Van Damme head butts a stack of dishes and throws a television out of a window. The problem is getting him to stop. Once he starts bashing and thrashing, putting on the breaks is a chore in itself.
