Richard Gadd has found the stars of his follow-up series to his Emmy-winning surprise hit “Baby Reindeer:” Jamie Bell and himself, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Here’s the official description of the series: “When Niall’s (Bell) estranged ‘brother’ Ruben (Gadd) shows up at his wedding, it leads to an explosion of violence that catapults us back through their lives. Spanning almost forty years from the 1980s to the present day, this ambitious series will cover the highs and lows of the brothers’ relationship, from them meeting as teenagers to their falling out as adults — with all the good, bad, terrible, funny, angry, and challenging moments along the way. It will capture the wild energy of a changing city — a changing world, even — and try to get to the bottom of the difficult question: What does it mean to be a man?”
“Billy Elliot” BAFTA winner Bell’s recent work includes roles in the films “Rocketman” and “All Of Us Strangers” and the Apple TV+ limited series “Shining Girls.”
Gadd won Emmys for Outstanding Limited Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series, and Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series for his autobiographical dramedy “Baby Reindeer,” which became a breakout hit on Netflix earlier this year. He signed a first-look deal with Netflix after he closed the deal to make “Half Man” for HBO and the BBC.
Along with Gadd, executive producers on “Half Man” include Tally Garner and Morven Reid of Mam Tor Productions, Gaynor Holmes for the BBC, and Gavin Smith for BBC Scotland. Wendy Griffin serves as producer, and Alexandra Brodski (“Rivals”) and Eshref Reybrouck (“Ferry”) share directing duties.
