Jamie Jones Teams Up With Kate Simko for ‘One Time Game’: Listen
Jamie Jones and Lee Foss form one of the most powerful superduos in dance. House lovers’ hearts around the world beat in sync to the tunes of their joint label Hot Creations, while the pair’s highly musical electronic group Hot Natured is met with similar critical acclaim.
Apparently, Jones and Foss have yet more tricks up their sleeve and need more room to share them. They’ve expanded their musical empire with new label Emerald City, and judging by the first two releases, it plans to be a place of grand instrumentalism and magical arrangement.

Where first track “Fearing Love” toyed with symphonic elements, follow up “One Time Game” sees Jamie Jones team up with Kate Simko and her London Electronic Orchestra for a truly cinematic composition. Jones pits her live harp, violins, cellos, upright bass and the sultry vocals of Jem Cooke against decidedly electronic elements and a pulsing 909 drum line, the result being a song that’s danceable enough for the floor but so sophisticated, it can stand on its own.
