“This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!!” Jackson wrote on Instagram. “We truly can’t wait! Sending so much love.”
Tickets for all shows will go on sale August 28 at 10 a.m. PT. A pre-sale for Jackson’s fans will run August 26 at 10 a.m. through Aug. 27 at 10 p.m., with additional pre-sales taking place on the 27th. Full info is available on Jackson’s website.
Jackson last set up shop in Vegas in 2019 with her “Metamorphosis” residency, which ran for 18 shows at the Park Theater. The show featured a massive career-spanning set that traced Jackson’s “path to self-love, empowerment, motherhood and activism, amidst the challenges she faced along her personal journey” (as press materials proclaimed at the time). The show also doubled as a kind of 30th-anniversary celebration of her classic 1989 album, Rhythm Nation 1814.
Last year, Jackson returned to the road for the first time in four years, launching her Together Again tour with gigs across North America. This year, she added some international dates, another North American leg — including 35 shows with Nelly — and starting next month, she’ll play concerts in South Africa and throughout Europe.
