Jason Aldean on cheating scandal
Oh, Jason Aldean, I have a bone to pick with you.
On Monday, the married country singer opened up about his cheating scandal — Aldean was photographed kissing American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr last month — in an interview with CMT Insider host Katie Cook. He previously apologized for his behavior, claiming he was drunk and acted inappropriately, but this interview is the first time he’s spoken about the impact of the incident on himself and his family.
“I think when it comes to all the things that have been going on lately, I mean, it’s just been a tough situation,” he said. “I know everybody’s kinda going to have their opinion, and for the people that know me and know what I’m about … the people that are standing by us and supporting us, all I’ve got to say to them is thanks. I mean, I really appreciate it, and it’s just been a really unfortunate thing. Really embarrassing, I think, more than anything.”
