Jason Aldean is coming to Macon to play a benefit concert. Here’s how to get tickets.

Macon native Jason Aldean’s trip to Macon later this year will now feature two concerts.

The best-selling country artist will be playing a concert Oct. 3 at the Grand Opera House downtown, the venue announced last week. The show will benefit Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. The show will take place just before his Oct. 5 concert at the Atrium Health Amphitheater.

The show takes place in a more intimate venue than Aldean’s usual haunts, as the Grand Opera House seats about 1,000 people. As such, tickets are limited.

Tickets will go on sale on Aug. 30 on the Grand Opera House’s website. Tickets can also be purchased at the theater’s box office in-person or over the phone. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Grand Opera House advised concertgoers in a Facebook post to purchase tickets through the theater or through its only authorized ticket vendor, Tixr, to avoid being scammed.
