Jelly Roll Hailed an 'Awesome Man' After Sweet Gesture Toward Young Fans
Jelly Roll is giving fans yet another reason to fall in love with him.
The country music star recently made a memory a group of his young fans will never forget by making an unexpected visit to three kids who were having a lemonade stand in West Valley City, Utah over the weekend.
A woman by the name of Wendy Gardunio shared the story via Facebook on Sunday, Aug. 25, showing off photos of the "Save Me" singer posing with the kids.
Calling it an "interesting day," Gardunio explained, "My kid and her cousins wanted to do a lemonade stand. And they had a famous singer come and buy some lemonade."
"Who would have thought that we would run into jelly roll in west valley," she wrote, before calling Jelly "so generous" for giving the children almost $700 for his lemonade.
In the photos, Jelly, 39, was sweetly posing next to the kiddos, who all appeared to be smiling from ear-to-ear. Another shot of inside the cash register showed the $100 bills that the musician left for the young kids.
Facebook users in the comments were delighted—but not surprised—by Jelly's kindness, as the country crooner has already been making a name for himself as an inspiration and role model to his fans.
"He is a[n] awesome man. And great music too," one fan said about the Grammy-nominated singer, while another person called Jelly "such an inspiration in every way."
"This is so sweet," read another comment on the post.
Other users pointed out how "cool" the experience must have been for the young kids, calling it a "once [in] a lifetime deal for these kiddos."
"So freaking awesome," another fan wrote, while another called the "Need A Favor" singer a "Good soul right there!"
