Jennifer Hudson Reunites With Former 'Sex and the City' Co-Star in 'Iconic' Photo From Paris Olympics

Jennifer Hudson recently reunited with her former co-star, Sarah Jessica Parker, in Paris, France, after working together on the Sex and the City movie over 15 years ago.

The actresses made SATC fans' hearts complete as they posed for a photo together this week while both in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, July 29, Hudson delighted her followers with a photo of her standing next to Parker in front of the Eiffel Tower, lit up and decorated with Olympic rings for the Summer Games.

Per usual, they sported eye-catching fashion pieces, with Hudson, 42, rocking a fuzzy purple coat while Parker, 59, opted for a denim dress with a black sparkly cardigan.

"Look who I ran into in Paris !!" the Dreamgirls star captioned her Instagram post while referencing her role in the 2008 Sex and the City film. "Carrie and Louise reunited at last! Love is the thing, you know! ?? #SATC."

Hudson played the role of Louise (also known as Louise From St. Louis) in the movie, which served as a continuation of the SATC HBO series. In the film, her character came to New York on the quest to find love and was hired as an assistant for Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), who needed help getting her life back in order following a devastating—and messy—split from Mr. Big (Chris Noth).

Louise and Carrie formed a sweet and wholesome friendship, which SATC fans have never forgotten about, making the actress' reunion in Paris this week even more special.

"YES Louise from St. Louis! This is iconic!!! ??" one fan gushed under Hudson's Instagram post.

"this duo could run the world," another fan added.

"And Just Like That, we are taken back in time," someone else commented, referencing the title of the SATC reboot series, And Just Like That..., inspired by one of Carrie's famous taglines on the hit series.

The Instagram account for Sherri Shepherd also chimed in with another reference to one of Carrie's catchphrases, writing in the comments, "...and i began to wonder..."

Some fans took the opportunity to beg for Hudson to appear in the reboot series, which is currently filming its third season.

"Need cameo from you on AJLT, queen!" someone implored in the comments.

"if there is a S4, please consider bring Louise back. We would love to catch up with our girl.??," another user echoed.

The next season of And Just Like That... is expected to return in 2025, though an exact release date has not yet been announced.
