Jennifer Lopez Bundles Up in R13 Suede Double Stack Combat Boots During Holiday Outing With Daughter Emme in Aspen
Jennifer Lopez is amongst the long list of celebrities who are in Aspen for the holidays. While Mariah Carey is traipsing around in Christian Louboutin boots in the seasonal outpost, Lopez has been there for the last few days with her child Emme Muniz, her sister, her niece and longtime manager Benny Medina.
Though the actress and singer has worn quite a number of stiletto heels this year, in Aspen she’s been returning to a winter style she has favored: beige boots with a thick, platform-style lug sole. So even when she’s dressed down, the “Unstoppable” star still prefers for her shoes to provide a bit of a boost.

On Thursday in Aspen, her daughter wore a pair of chunky black boots while Lopez chose a pair of Uggs. The boots came from the brand’s New Heights line meaning they feature a thick platform and heel which measures three inches. It was likely the mini height which is an ankle boot though the Classic Twin Seam is higher.
On Christmas Eve, she was spotted out and about in a brown coat and the same pair of R13 double stack suede combat boots. That shoe features suede uppers in tan, lace-up closures, double pull-tab at the opening and ankle zipper closures. She’s worn the style a few times this year including to an Intimissi flagship store event back in April and again later that month while walking around New York.
During that same time period, Lopez was also spotted in a pair of platform Uggs. Though it wasn’t from the New Heights line, which includes not only a platform, but a block heel, she did wear the Classic Mini Platform Uggs. That shoe featured a thick lug sole.
