Jennifer Lopez Joyfully Dances During Outing With Beaming Teen Emme Amid Ben Affleck Divorce Controversy
Jennifer Lopez is dancing on her own, and she looks perfectly happy doing so.
During a Los Angeles shopping trip with one of her 16-year-old twins, Emme, on Saturday, the entertainment multi-hyphenate was spotted boogying her way down an escalator as her teen grinned and seemed to record the moment on her phone. Lopez raised her arms in the air and swayed from side to side with a big smile, and she radiated effortless glamour.

The mom of two wore a cropped tank top, a denim maxi skirt, and gold sandals. Lopez’s accessories included oversized sunglasses, silver hoop earrings and necklaces, a stack of assorted bracelets, and a navy Dior saddle bag. The “On the Floor” singer was notably wearing a gold band on her left hand, despite the divorce controversy between herself and her estranged husband Ben Affleck.
Emme also appeared unbothered by the transition in her family life, looking content and smiling alongside her mom and two teenage friends in the paparazzi photos. The teen wore baggy black cargo pants, an oversized short-sleeve button-up over a white t-shirt, and beige sneakers. They accessorized with a black banana in their hair and a knapsack on their back. Reports of tension began circulating about the couple in May. Despite the speculation, Lopez and Affleck were spotted holding hands at Affleck’s eldest daughter’s high school graduation at the end of the month, which they attended with the Air actor’s two younger kids and both of the Atlas star’s twins. But then in June, Affleck was spotted without his wedding ring, and days later, news broke that he was moving out of their shared home.
In August, an announcement surfaced claiming the two entertainers were going in separate directions, and on August 20, Lopez officially filed for divorce from Affleck. She cited April 24 as the date of their separation, revealing they were adrift for quite some time leading up to the filing.
