Jennifer Lopez Marries Ethereal Femininity and Tonal Nude Dressing in Chloé at Road to the Golden Globes Party at Toronto International Film Festival 2024
Jennifer Lopez made an elegant appearance at the Road to the Golden Globes party held during the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday. The star wore a flowing pale pink dress crafted from organic silk mousseline by Chloé’s creative director Chemena Kamali for her 2024 Fall collection. The dress exuded a sense of ethereal femininity, featuring cascading ruffles and a loose, flowing silhouette that allowed for graceful movement on the red carpet.
In Kamali’s debut, she did a bang-up job that embodied the brand’s “sunny nonchalance, natural femininity and youthful elan, while also injecting some of the playfulness Karl Lagerfeld plied during his two brand-defining tenures,” WWD’s Miles Socha noted in a review.

Styled by the duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who also count Lindsay Lohan, Lily Collins, Heidi Klum, and Mila Kunis as clients, Lopez’s look balanced soft romance with structured elements. She paired the flowing dress with beige over-the-knee Eve boots by Chloé. Crafted from shiny calfskin, the boots added a modern, sleek edge to the ensemble, while keeping a tonal harmony with the gown’s pastel hue. With this look, Lopez taps into the Chloé boho aesthetic that has been embraced by fashion enthusiasts and celebrities like Sienna Miller, Georgia May Jagger and Ayesha Curry.
To finish her look, Lopez accessorized with a white Tyler Ellis clutch, adding a minimalist element to the otherwise intricate ensemble. She paired the outfit with Sabyasachi jewelry, including large tourmaline and diamond drop earrings, a multi-stone bangle, and a sapphire and diamond ring. The statement pieces complemented the gown’s detailed design, while still allowing it to be the standout of her red carpet appearance.
The Toronto International Film Festival marks Lopez’s first public appearance following her recent divorce filing from Ben Affleck in August after two years of marriage. Just the day prior, Lopez stepped out in what many dubbed the “revenge dress” for the premiere of “Unstoppable,” a film co-produced by Affleck. For this occasion, she chose a shimmering gown from Tamara Ralph’s fall 2024 couture collection, highlighting the third season of her eponymous label.
