Who Is Jeremy Allen White’s Wife, Addison Timlin?
Jeremy Allen White has been taking Hollywood by storm since his standout roles in Shameless and Homecoming. Most recently, the actor, 33, delivered an unforgettable performance as Carmy in Hulu's critically acclaimed The Bear, which has three seasons available to stream and, reportedly, a fourth season in the works. He also stars alongside Zac Efron in the wrestling movie The Iron Claw. And to top it off, he’s now nominated for a 2024 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on The Bear.
Back in January 2024, White won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy. During an interview for GQ's Men of the Year issue, he discussed his newfound popularity. “It’s been insane,” White said. “A lot of high highs, a lot of terribly low lows.”
Indeed, White has quite a bit more going on in his life behind the scenes. As it turns out, the actor has been in the midst of an ongoing divorce from wife Addison Timlin, 33, who filed for divorce in May 2023. 1. Who Is Jeremy Allen White’s Wife?
White and his estranged wife, Addison Timlin, have quite a bit in common. Like her (now almost ex) partner, Timlin is also an actress with dozens of credits under her belt. I mostly recognize her from American Horror Stories (where she played Delilah), Californication, Zero Hour and That Awkward Moment.
The actress has even co-starred with her husband on a few projects, including Afterschool and Chasing You, of which she also served as producer. She most recently appeared in the 2023 film Blackout alongside Marshall Bell and Michael Buscemi.
In a 2013 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Timlin revealed that she tends to gravitate toward movie roles over television. “I prefer working, period,” she told the mag. “I think that I like doing film more just because when you get a script, you have the story from start to finish, so you can really find the character’s arc, and when you walk away from it, you know you’re sort of powerless to what happens.”
2. How Did They Meet?
Believe it or not, the two actors first met in 2005 during their freshman year at the Professional Performing Arts High School. The pair became fast friends, but they didn't start dating until they co-starred in the 2008 film, Afterschool.
In 2013, Timlin told Harper's Bazaar about their relationship, although she didn't mention White by name. She said, “I’ve got a sweetheart who I will not disclose, but, yes, he’d be the guy. We have a nice foundation from being friends for a long period of time, and then it took a hard right turn into romance.”
3. When Did White and Timlin Get Married?
After the Shameless star popped the question in April 2019, the couple tied the knot in October at a courthouse in Beverly Hills. And while the ceremony was small, it included some famous faces, like their friends Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin.
To mark the occasion, Timlin posted pics of herself and White donning matching, customized jackets on IG. They read, "Til Death" and "Buddy + Billie."
4. Do They Have Children?
They sure do. Before they walked down the aisle, White and Timlin welcomed their first daughter, Ezer, on October 20, 2018. On Instagram, Timlin wrote, "Ezer Billie White 10.20.2018 Welcome to the world baby girl, it just got so much brighter."
Fast-forward to December 2020, and the couple announced that they welcomed their second child. On IG, Timlin said, "Dolores Wild White—born 12/12/2020, just in time to save the year. She is the answer to 1,000 prayers and we are in love with her."
She continued, "Thank you Ezer for your patience and wisdom—you’re the best big sister ever and finally to my husband, you are everything. We did it baby."
5. Does Timlin Have Social Media?
She sure does. The American Horror Stories star has an Instagram account with over 330k followers, where she has previously posted everything from kid content to posts dedicated to White. The actress also has an X (formerly Twitter) account, but she hasn’t posted since 2016.
6. OK, Are They Still Married?

Though they may technically still be married, they are separated. Timlin filed for divorce back in May 2023, and as of right now, it seems the couple is still in the middle of the legal proceedings. “They are still separated, but getting along,” a source told People last summer. “They love their children and all spend time together. When she filed for divorce, she was upset. Things have settled a bit.”
In January 2024, Allen and Timlin were spotted together with their kids as reported by Page Six. The couple was among other friends and even shared a pleasant hug. Divorce or not, it looks like they may be in good standing with each other.
7. Who Else Has Jeremy Allen Been Linked To?

Although the divorce has not yet been finalized, Allen has been spotted with multiple women since the news broke about the couple's split last year. In August 2023, the actor was seen sharing a kiss with model Ashley Moore. By October 2023, Allen was seen getting close to singer Rosalía after they were spotted together at a farmers' market, per TMZ.
The duo has since been photographed packing in some serious PDA and even attending events together. The internet believes Allen gave a subtle nod to their relationship at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards with a red rose brooch, which fans have named the "Rosalía Rose." So, as of right now, it seems the singer is still his main squeeze since splitting from his wife.
