Jill Duggar Congratulates Sister Jana with Sweet Behind-the-Scenes Videos from Her Wedding to Stephen Wissmann
Jana Duggar and her husband Stephen Wissmann married on Aug. 15 in Prairie Grove, Ark., with many members of her big family in attendance
Jill Duggar Dillard was in attendance as her sister Jana Duggar walked down the aisle on Aug. 15. Nearly one week after the wedding, Jill shared some behind-the-scenes footage from the big day.
On Tuesday, the Counting On alum clipped together an Instagram Reel with footage from Jana, 34, and her husband Stephen Wissmann's nuptials in Prairie Grove, Ark.
"?? She’s married! Congrats to my sister @janamduggar and her husband @stephenwissmann on their wedding last week. ??," Jill, 33, captioned her video, which she soundtracked with Bette Midler's 1972 rendition of "Chapel of Love."
The Instagram post featured footage of the venue and stills of some of the sweet details, like a cookie frosted to read "The Wissmanns." Jill also included a photo of the ceremony program, which listed the names of Jana's bridesmaids: her sister-in-law, Abbie Duggar, and sisters Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah Duggar, Jinger Duggar Vuolo and Jordyn Duggar. Jessa Duggar Seewald was Jana's maid of honor.
Jill wore a sleeveless black mini dress, as seen in the snaps of her and her husband Derick Dillard at the event. The couple posed with the newlyweds in a foursome photo and in a wider shot with other members of the famously full family.
The Instagram Reel also showed how Jana and Wissmann danced together while guests held sparklers, one sweet part of the "classic, elegant" wedding, as the bride described it to PEOPLE.
"I think it is one of those things that all girls envision someday," Jana said of her wedding a few days before the celebration. "For me, it felt like, 'Okay, it's never coming.' But now it's starting to sink in. Reality is starting to set in. And I'm like, 'Wow, this truly is something that I've dreamed of.' And just to see it coming about is incredible and kind of hard to believe. It's a dream come true."
Jana also told PEOPLE about how important it was to have her family in attendance at the memorable function.
"Coming from two bigger families (Wissmann is one of 13 siblings), we love to be able to get together and celebrate moments like these," Jana said. "And so to have all of them there, it just means a lot."
