Jimmy Kimmel Gives Colton Underwood a Neil Lane Ring to (Someday) Use for Cassie Randolph
Colton Underwood is leaving his post as The Bachelor with the girl and the ring — even if said ring is still in the box.
The Bachelor star, 27, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! after his season’s live finale on Tuesday, and received quite the gift from the host: a Neil Lane rock to be presented to his final pick, Cassie Randolph, when the time is right.
“I do feel like you guys kind of got cheated a little bit because of the way you went about this,” Kimmel explained. “Because they love to have you get engaged on television and part of the deal is you get the ring from Neil Lane. So this afternoon I was like, ‘This kind of sucks, they don’t get the ring from Neil Lane.’ So we called Neil Lane and so here, he sent the ring.”

Upon receiving the sparkler, Underwood asked Randolph, 23, to stand up, but quickly told her he was just joking as a reluctant look crossed her face.
The couple left the show as “confidently boyfriend and girlfriend,” Underwood told Kimmel, with the possibility of an engagement on the horizon.
“You know we’ve talked about it,” the grinning reality star said, after referring to Randolph as his “future wife.”

Randolph, meanwhile, told PEOPLE she and Underwood are “excited” to get to the point of a future engagement.
“If you don’t want that one you can pick out a different one, it doesn’t have to be that ring,” Kimmel said of his gift. “Or you know, go to a pawn shop and get loaded, I don’t know, whatever you guys want to do. That’s from Neil Lane. I’d like to take credit for it, but it’s really not mine.”
The happy couple reunited on part two of The Bachelor finale after Randolph left the show because she was unsure of her feelings for the former football player.
Since filming wrapped, the speech pathologist said her father — who visited his daughter on set in Portugal to urge her not to accept a proposal — has come around and now “loves” Underwood, and that they even watched the show together as it aired.
“We’ve seen each other every week since filming, sometimes more. I would say we’ve probably been with each other more than any other couple,” Underwood said. “We want to just go to the grocery store, go for bike rides, walks on the beach.”

The star told PEOPLE he moved to California to be closer to Randolph, and that the two hope to move in together within the next year.
“Our goal is to buy a house in Huntington Beach in the next year, but we probably won’t move in together until we’re engaged or married,” said Underwood. “As much as I want her to live with me, it’s a big step and something we both take very seriously.”
