Jimmy Kimmel Refutes Donald Trump’s Claim He Appeared on His Show ‘A Lot’
Another day, another chapter in the feud between Donald Trump and Jimmy Kimmel. On Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, the host used his monologue to respond to a recent interview the presidential candidate did on the Nelk Boys podcast.
“We keep hearing this is the most important election of our lives, and it is the most important election of our lives because we have the most ridiculous major candidate of our lives,” Kimmel said. “Case in point: Donald Trump just did a podcast with a group of guys. Four young bros who don’t know that the words ‘wary’ and ‘weary’ mean different things.” He added that “once again the conversation veered dangerously towards me.”

On the podcast, one of hosts brought up talk-show hosts, asking Trump, “Are they great or do we need to make them great again?”
“First of all, they all have bad ratings,” Trump replied. “The one that’s the most successful is Greg Gutfeld … Jimmy Kimmel is a loser. I would do Jimmy Kimmel. I did him a lot.”
Kimmel delightedly quipped, “Maybe confusing me with Stormy Daniels? I don’t know.” He then confirmed that Trump has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live three times in the show’s 22-year history. “Not a lot,” Kimmel said. “Mike the Situation from Jersey Shore was on this show more times than you, but go on.”
Kimmel added that Trump’s claim that the host met him outside the studio “every time” and walked him in was not true. “He loves telling this made-up story,” Kimmel said. “Never did I ever stand on the sidewalk to greet Donald Trump. Or any guests. Never happened … Our guests don’t even come in from the sidewalk. They come in from the alley in the back, where I also don’t stand out there to greet them. The only time I’ve ever walked out on the sidewalk for Donald Trump was to urinate on his star on the Walk of Fame.”
The host then invited Trump to come back, providing he take a cognitive test against Kamala Harris. “I will for sure roll out the burnt orange carpet and go meet him on Hollywood Boulevard,” Kimmel said.
