Jin Drops Track List for First Solo Album ‘Happy’
BTS’ Jin has dropped the track list for his eagerly anticipated solo debut, Happy, set to arrive Nov. 15.
The six-track project was detailed on a colorful poster that also included the producers and artists Jin collaborated with on the mini-LP. The album’s opener, “Running Wild,” will be Happy’s main focus track, while “I’ll Be There” will also be a pre-release single. Other tracks include “Another Level,” “Falling,” “Heart on the Window” featuring Wendy, and “I Will Come to You.”

Happy features production and songwriting from Take That’s Gary Barlow, who worked on “Running Wild.” Meanwhile, Taka and Toru of celebrated Japanese rock band, One OK Rock, worked on “Falling.” Additional contributions came from Jacob Attwooll Pdogg, Ghstloop, Evan, Arcades, Matt Attard, Joshua Thompson, and more.
Jin announced Happy earlier this week, with a statement saying the project “explores Jin’s journey to discover true happiness,” with the hope that listeners will also “find joy.” The album arrives after Jin completed his mandatory military service this year.
Unlike his BTS bandmates, Jin has yet to drop a full solo project, though he has shared several solo songs over the years. In December 2021, he dropped a short track called “Super Tuna,” though he only just released the full version of the song. Prior to enlisting in the military in 2022, Jin shared “The Astronaut,” a song he co-wrote with Coldplay.
Along with prepping new music, Jin has spent the year since he finished his military service busy with a variety of activities. In June, he took part in the Olympic torch relay for the 2024 Paris games. And he’s also set to appear on an upcoming Netflix variety show, Kian’s Bizarre B&B.
“I’m working on recording music and filming variety shows,” he recently said in a statement. “I’m trying to focus on my main job while showing my face as much as possible. The results will be out in a few months, so please wait a little longer.”
