John Legend assures fans Chrissy Teigen is doing 'great' amid bullying controversy
John Legend has assured fans that his wife Chrissy Teigen is "doing great" in the aftermath of her bullying controversy.
The 35-year-old model posted a grovelling apology on Monday evening after resurfaced tweets showed her attacking other celebrities.
In one she joked that Lindsay Lohan was "slitting her wrists" in envy over Emma Stone, while in another from 2012 she suggested Courtney Stodden, then 16, kill themself over their marriage to the then 51-year-old Doug Hutchison.

Legend, 42, was spotted in Beverly Hills, California, and was asked on camera how his wife was doing now.
Shrugging off the incident, the All Of Me singer simply told TMZ she was doing “great”.
Teigen has withdrawn from social media and work obligations after people she attacked, particularly Stodden, spoke out against her.
She also pulled out at the last minute from a surprise guest appearance in season 2 of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever, despite already having recorded the voiceover role.

Macy’s, Target and Bloomingdales also dropped their collaborations with her.
In a lengthy open letter posted to Medium on Monday, Teigen branded herself a “troll” and and “a**hole” as she apologised for those she had hurt in the past.
Calling the backlash “a very humbling few weeks”, Teigen said: “I want you to know I’ve been sitting in a hole of deserved global punishment, the ultimate ‘sit here and think about what you’ve done’.
“Not a day, not a single moment has passed where I haven’t felt the crushing weight of regret for the things I’ve said in the past.

“I was a troll, full stop. And I am so sorry.
"There is simply no excuse for my past horrible tweets. My targets didn’t deserve them. No one does.
“Many of them needed empathy, kindness, understanding and support, not my meanness masquerading as a kind of casual, edgy humor.”
She added she now “cringes to her core” about what she wrote 10 years ago.
