Olivia Munn rings in the New Year with her and John Mulaney's smiling baby son Malcolm

Everyone, meet Baby Mulaney.

On Christmas Eve, new parents John Mulaney and Olivia Munn shared a first photo of their infant son, Malcolm Hi?p Mulaney.

The sweet little one was pictured sleeping in a soft blue hat and wrapped in a fuzzy white blanket.

"Meet Malcolm Hi?p Mulaney," wrote Mulaney, 39, on Instagram. "He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet. I’m very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays."

"My Golden Ox baby," wrote Munn, 41, on her Instagram page, adding a similar holiday greeting.

Munn shared an additional pair of photos of Malcolm on her Instagram story Thursday. In the first photo, taken during a New Year's dinner prep session with Munn's mother, Mulaney playfully holds Malcolm inside a silver pot and hovers the lid above his head.

"LOL, DADDY'S NEW BáNH BAO RECIPE," Munn captioned the photo, referring to the Vietnamese buns her mother had been cooking.

The second photo is a close-up of the baby in his staged pose, featuring Malcom's gray and navy-blue striped onesie and pacifier: "ADORA-BAO," Munn wrote.

On New Year's Day, Munn shared a photo of herself and her little one looking lovingly at each other. "Happy New Year," Munn wrote.

In September, Mulaney confirmed that he and Munn were going to be parents.

"In the spring, I went to Los Angeles, and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia – Olivia Munn," Mulaney said Sept. 7 on "Late Night with Seth Meyers." "And we're having a baby together. … I'm going to be a dad. We're both really, really happy."

This is the first child for both Mulaney and Munn. The pair reconnected earlier this year after the comedian, who has been open about his struggle with addiction, split with his artist wife Anna Marie Tendler and completed a rehab stint and a subsequent stay in sober living.

Mulaney told Meyers he was grateful his comedian friends had staged an intervention for him last fall, and gave kudos to Munn.

“I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible," Mulaney told Meyers. "Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself and this early journey out of recovery."
