Jojo Siwa’s Eyebrow-Raising Motherhood Plans Involve 3 Surrogates, Rhyming Names, & Not-Quite-Triplets
In case you missed it, Jojo Siwa is not a kid anymore — and she’s been doing everything she can to tell the world. The Dance Moms alum has moved on from big, colorful bows and has been making edgy choices in her fashion, music, and personal life, and now she’s ready to talk about having kids of her own. The “Karma” singer just revealed her eyebrow-raising plans for motherhood, and it’s … a lot.
Siwa answered questions for Cosmopolitan’s “If It Were Me” series, where they talked about everything from pop culture moments to times from Siwa’s own past. One question asked about the 21-year-old’s future children, who she has previously said she would name “Freddie, Eddie, and Teddie.” When Cosmo asked what she would do if her wife “confesses she hates the baby names you’ve picked out,” Siwa answers, “I would break up with her. Divorce.”

“And that is something that I talk about very early on with partners,” she continues with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Just so you know, there are three children — their names are Freddie, Eddie and Teddie. I will have as many more as you want, however many more. But FET is coming and they will be here in three years, whether you like it or not.’”
She added, “Those are my nuggets. And no one comes before my nuggets.”
It’s sweet that she’s protective over her future kid — and I love that Siwa knows what she wants and is open to potential partners about it right away. However, being set on these rhyming names (with an acronym for them already picked out) is giving middle school sleepover, staying up late sharing all the baby names you picked out for your future children. It just seems a little childish and immature to say you would divorce your spouse if they didn’t like these baby names, so hopefully she was kidding.
Although, it does make sense considering how she already has tattoos of her hypothetical future babies’ names. She showed off her tattoos in a Feb. 2024 interview with Access Hollywood. “I actually have two tattoos dedicated to them. This one’s dedicated to my baby girl one day, her name is Freddie,” Siwa shared, per PEOPLE.
“Then this is dedicated to twin boys. Eddie and Teddie. Freddie, Eddie and Teddie. I want three babies. I’ve got a sperm donor lined up,” she added.
She’s committed, that’s for sure.
In the interview with Cosmo, Siwa also opened up about her plans to use three (!!) surrogates when she is ready to be a mom. “Because I’m gay as s— and I have to plan a pregnancy much different than a straight person, I actually want to take three eggs, fertilize three eggs, and have three surrogates,” Siwa, who came out as gay in 2021, said.
“So technically, they’ll all be the same batch, but they would all be born separately,” Siwa continued. “I’m gonna have my surrogates, my babies, then maybe their birthdays will land on different days, and they can be like triplets, but like, not.”
I have so many questions. First of all, the “same batch”? These are kids she’s talking about, not a tray of muffins or a litter of puppies. Second, who willingly goes into motherhood with triplets first? I mean, c’mon! Going from 0-1 babies was the hardest for me, a mom of three, but I couldn’t even imagine having all three of my kids at the exact same time on purpose. The way she talks about family planning is definitely odd.
People had big feelings about the interview. In the comments section, one person wrote, “Freddie Eddie and Teddie in different surrogates at the same time is out of control.”
“Okay now I get why people are against surrogacy,” another wrote.
“Surrogacy already has a high chance of multiples, so having three surrogates is extremely irresponsible,” someone else noted. “Not to mention, she’s still perfectly capable of being pregnant with her own kids via IVF. I hope she’s joking because she doesn’t sound very informed.”
Family planning is a very personal choice, and no one owes anyone an explanation on why they want to go with a surrogate. However, talking about surrogacy and babies in such a flippant way feels a bit disrespectful. Hopefully she understands the responsibility and work it takes to raise a kid (or three) before she embarks on the motherhood journey.
