Jordana Brewster is her son's biggest fan!

The mom-of-two reflected on watching her kids grow up in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the This Is About Humanity 6th Anniversary Soirée, held at Henry Winkler and his wife Stacey's Los Angeles home on Saturday, Aug. 24.

While talking about recent milestones she's seen her sons reach, Brewster, 44, says that her youngest son with her ex Andrew Form, 8-year-old Rowan, recently started playing flag football — and so far, he has impressed her with his skills and sportsmanship.

"I'm shocked by how much they grow within a year. My kid's in flag football, and in the past he would talk back to the coach or start crying if something bad happened," the Fast & Furious actress says.

"But he's 8 years old and he was in it, taking direction, and I was so proud. He scored two touchdowns yesterday and I was just like, 'Yes!' Brewster continues of Rowan, jokingly adding, "I was a total stage mom on the side."

Brewster, who married her current husband Mason Morfit in 2022, also shares her eldest son, 10-year-old Julian, with Form.

Although Rowan has taken well to flag football, the Fast X star tells PEOPLE she thinks he will commit to a different sport in high school.

The 8-year-old watched the Netflix golf series Full Swing, and Brewster says Rowan is now "obsessed with Rickie Fowler, and wears orange," referring to the pro golfer's signature color.

"I think he'll be a pro golfer one day — not a footballer, thank God," she adds.
