Kamala Harris says Trump's recent actions have 'defiled the office of the president of the United States'
Senator Kamala Harris stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night, where Jimmy Kimmel pointed out that Donald Trump "barely mentioned" Harris at his rally in North Carolina, which had just taken place.
Instead, during the rally, Trump continued to slam Rep. Ilhan Omar, one of the Democratic congresswomen of color he told to "go back" to where "they came" from, as the crowd chanted "send her back."
Following Trump's rally Wednesday, Harris took to Twitter, saying, "It’s vile. It’s cowardly. It’s xenophobic. It’s racist. It defiles the office of the president. And I won't share it here. It’s time to get Trump out of office and unite the country."
It’s vile.
It’s cowardly.
It’s xenophobic.
It’s racist.
It defiles the office of the President.
And I won't share it here.

When Kimmel asked Harris why he thinks Trump is focusing on the Congresswomen so much, Harris stated, "I think that he has defiled the office of the president of the United States." Harris also told Kimmel, "What we have seen is that this individual, this president, he, I guess, believes that his power is to beat people down instead of what real power and strength is about, which is lifting people up." Harris continued to blast Trump as she called him a "coward" before explaining how the president is a "predator."
"I'm going to tell you something about predators. The thing about them is by their very nature and character and instinct, they prey on the vulnerable. They prey on those they believe to be weak. They prey on those who are in need of help and often desperate in need of help. And this is the kind of characteristic that we see in this president," said Harris.
Harris went on to explain how Trump embraces dictators like Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin and Mohammad bin Salman, and has, on multiple occasions, taken their word over the American Intelligence Community, before begging the question, "Who is this guy?"
Kimmel half-jokingly responded, "I think he was the host of Celebrity Apprentice?" This gave Harris an idea of where Trump should "go back" to.
"Exactly. He obviously achieved success there. He obviously has achieved very little success here, so he should go back to that," said Harris.
Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
