Kardashians trying to keep a 'devastated' Khloé away from Tristan Thompson cheating reports
Khloé Kardashian isn’t facing heartbreak alone. One day after Tristan Thompson cheating allegations emerged, the pregnant reality star is being supported by close friends and family.
“Everyone is rallying around her, making sure she stays focused on the positive, and that’s her little girl,” one family insider tells Yahoo.
Kardashian, 33, is set to give birth to her first child any day, which makes the infidelity rumors that much harder to hear — or see. On Wednesday, two videos from separate incidents were posted of the Cleveland Cavaliers star, 27, allegedly getting close to other women.
“Khloé is absolutely devastated,” says the source. “Everyone is trying to make sure she sees as little [of the news] as possible.”
Rumors of Thompson’s alleged infidelity first surfaced after the Daily Mail posted a video of him getting close to another woman in New York City on Saturday. TMZ followed up with footage of Thompson and the same woman arriving back at his hotel together. The outlet then posted a different video from October, which shows Thompson allegedly cheating. Kardashian would have been around three months pregnant at the time.
Multiple sources allege to Yahoo that this is not the first time Thompson has cheated.
“Everyone is worried about what else is going to come out,” says one insider, noting that the NBA star’s friends were aware of his wandering eye. “From what I knew, [cheating occurred] early on in their relationship. I thought things settled down when [Khloé] got pregnant.”
A second source echoes similar sentiments. “This isn’t the first time it’s happened — it’s the first time he’s gotten publicly caught,” says the source.
It’s not clear what — if anything — the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star knew. Yahoo reached out to Kardashian’s publicist for comment on the above allegations but did not immediately receive a response.
One source tells People that “Tristan has been consistently cheating on Khloé,” calling him “a serial cheater.” An insider says the scandal has been “a long time coming.”
Both Kardashian and Thompson have remained mum on the reports, as has her famous family. Thompson is back in Cleveland, as the Cavaliers are set to play the Knicks tonight. It’s unclear if the news will affect that. Yahoo reached out to the team but did not immediately receive a response.
Kardashian recently moved to Cleveland to give birth. This will be the first child for her and the second for Thompson. He has a 1-year-old son, Prince, with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.
Craig was pregnant when Thompson began dating Kardashian, and some reports claim that the NBA star cheated on her with Khloé. However, this is a narrative that Craig wants to be left out of, as she has posted about respect amid the headlines.
Multiple reports have identified the woman with Thompson over the weekend as Instagram model Lani Blair. With more than 362,000 followers, Blair has turned her account private in the wake of the reports. Interestingly, there is at least one famous person following her: Blac Chyna.
