Kate Beckinsale’s former Los Angeles home lists for $4.2M
A Los Angeles abode once owned by the English actress Kate Beckinsale listed for sale on Friday, The Post has learned.
Beckinsale paid $3.59 million for the Cape Cod-style home in 2006, then sold it for $3.99 million in 2021, a $400,000 profit. It now has a $4.29 million price tag.
The 51-year-old is known for her roles in the 1996 film “Emma,” the “Underworld” film series and 2003’s cult classic “Tiptoes.”
Located in celebrity-studded Brentwood, the Banyan Drive home stands on a “completely private hillside,” according to press materials.
The double-door entrance is set back from the sidewalk up a series of stone steps next to the attached two-car garage, which also has storage space.
A separate, more bucolic entrance is located within the gated front courtyard.
Inside the 3,600-plus-square-foot, white-walled retreat, there’s a two-story grand entry with a chandelier. Stairs lead to the home’s second story. Inside, total, there are four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a laundry room — and a home office/library with built-in shelving, multiple window seats and a lofted storage area.
The custom kitchen is open to the fireplace-equipped living area and has dual oversized center islands with seating, cabinets galore and a desk area. A separate family room offers yet another fireplace, picture windows and four doors leading to the outside.
All the main living areas have access to the backyard, which has outdoor seating, an outdoor shower, a fireplace, string lights and a bridge leading to the upper portion of the landscaped grounds. It also offers sweeping views of the city and canyon beyond.
The primary suite — which overlooks the garden — has a generous walk-in closet, a double vanity and an ensuite bath with a fireplace and a freestanding tub.
Brentwood native Brandon Assanti of the Agency holds the listing.
