Kate Hudson’s Daughter Rani Is the Spitting Image of Grandma Goldie Hawn in the Cutest Cowgirl Hats
She may have a steady acting career and a new foray into the music industry under her belt, but underneath it all, Kate Hudson is just a cowgirl at heart. The “Live Forever” singer just shared new pictures from her family ranch in Montana, and we couldn’t help but notice Hudson’s 5-year-old daughter Rani Rose looks just like her mom Goldie Hawn!

“Perfect family ranch day ???? Oh, and I lost the egg race…” Hudson captioned a photo carousel on Instagram today. Her family was in their rancher era, riding horses in a padlock with gorgeous mountains in the background of one picture, while Rani practiced her lasso on a metal practice bull. She looks adorable in her bright blue hat and shiny gold cowboy boots as she holds an orange rope over her head.
In Slide 2, Rani smiles next to her grandma Goldie, both in pretty cowgirl hats. Rani’s cousin Rio, 9, the daughter of Kate Hudson’s brother Oliver and his wife Erinn, smiled on the other side of Goldie. Wyatt Russell and his wife Meredith Hagner were also there, per PEOPLE.
Hudson, who shares Rani with fiancé Danny Fujikawa and is also mom to Ryder, 20, with ex Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 13, with ex Matt Bellamy, also included pictures of herself and the other adults having a horseback egg race. The Wild West has never looked more fun!

It’s no surprise that Rani looks so much like her grandma — Kate looks just like her as well! The Overboard actress shared a throwback photo of her and her daughter back in April, and they could be twins with their matching blonde hair, big smiles, white tank tops, and jeans.

Among all the things you have already accomplished in your life—amazing mother, great dancer, Academy Award-nominated actress, and now a fantastic singer—let us not forget you were the fastest runner in high school and all of LA!” she captioned the photo. “SO KEEP ON RUNNING SWEETHEART. Hudson responded to the sweet message, “Haha! Mama you’re the best! Being fast is still is my favorite accomplishment ?? Catch me if you can!! ???? Love you so much ??”
