Kate Hudson Shows Off Metallic Rene Caovilla Sandals on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’
Kate Hudson appeared as a guest on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” on March 3 to talk about her new Netflix show “Running Point,” wearing a sequined dress and metallic sandals from Rene Caovilla.
Hudson brought sparkle to the guest chair of the late night show with a silvery sequined dress featuring a collar, long sleeves and a plunging neckline. Beaded fringe dangling the hemline of the skirt offered the dress a bit of extra movement. The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” actress had her hair blonde swept back in an updo while some shining jewelry amped up her glamour to an even higher degree.

A pair of sandals from luxury Italian brand Rene Caovilla served as an eye-catching accompaniment to Hudson’s dress. Showcasing the label’s signature sinuous design, she wore the Cleo sandal, which features one strap across the toes and one strap across the middle of the foot in addition to the uppermost strap that winds several times around the ankle in a spiral shape. Hudson’s particular pair showcases a mirror effect metallic silver color, but the Cleo sandal is also available in red, gold and black metallic options. The shoes retail for $1,280
Hudson showcased an head-turning look at the premiere of “Running Point” on Feb. 13 wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown and Jimmy Choo platform sandals. The actress and singer isn’t afraid of trying out different footwear silhouettes — she donned a pair of sneaker mules over the summer, for example.
Hudson has been busy lately promoting “Running Point,” a new Netflix comedy series about a reformed party girl who is appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves basketball team after her brother checks into rehab. On “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Hudson discussed how her character is inspired by Los Angeles Lakers president Jeanie Buss; she also talked about when she realized she wanted to be an actor and how her album “Glorious (Deluxe)” has a song about her mom. Her mother Goldie Hawn presented alongside Andrew Garfield at the Oscars on Sunday.
