Kate Middleton Delights Fans With Rare, Relatably 'Normal' Photo of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at Home

Kate Middleton thrilled fans of the royal family on Monday, July 15, when she took to Instagram with a rare, at-home glimpse of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

In a new photo of the young royals, Charlotte and Louis appeared to be seated so closely on an ottoman that their arms were pressed together as they watched Spain and England compete in the UEFA European Football Championship on TV.

The two wore matching jerseys with their own names and ages plastered across the back as they watched intently, though, ultimately, Spain took home the trophy.

"@england, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old," the caption, credited to both Middleton and her husband, the Prince of Wales, read. "Congratulations to Spain."

As Prince William and their eldest son, Prince George, were at the game in Berlin, Germany, it's assumed that Middleton took the sweet snap of their two youngest, and fans couldn't get over how relatably "normal" it was.

"???????????? Love how this is a private moment from home!" one commented, adding, "This is so relatable ?????? thank you Princess for sharing with us!"

"What a super ‘normal’ family pic! You guys are doing great. ??," another wrote, while a third agreed, "Love the normality of this photograph <3."

Middleton also surprised fans at Wimbledon over the weekend—only her second public appearance since stepping back from her royal duties amid her cancer treatment—with Princess Charlotte, where the two watched the men's singles finals and Middleton received a standing ovation from the crowd.
