Kellyanne Conway ‘puff piece’ on CNN sends Twitter into a frenzy
After CNN posted what many are calling a “puff piece” about White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, viewers on Twitter were quick to respond.
Kellyanne Conway’s humble New Jersey roots laid the foundation for a long career in a male-dominated world of politics. Now, she’s the one consistent figure in the otherwise revolving door of the Trump White House. #BadassWomenDC | @DanaBashCNN https://t.co/9KH5FyB3z6 pic.twitter.com/G6X271J2N0

The video and post came with the hashtag #BadAssWomenDC as part of a series being done by CNN’s Dana Bash, and many think Conway should not have been included.
This is embarrassing, @CNN. Pure propaganda for a woman who is known to lie repeatedly on behalf of the president. This is an insult to actual “badass women of DC.”

As a woman, I find it insulting that another woman thinks it’s “badass” to lie, disinform & shill for one of the most corrupt men in government (the world?). Kellyanne is lining her pockets & reveling in her fame at the expense of her integrity. That ain’t “badass,” just bad.

This feels like satire but it’s not right?

Did she just buy CNN or something?
Why is this here?— lilykins (@lilykins50) March 20, 2019
Stop @DanaBashCNN. Just stop.
It’s no mystery: She leaks. She leaks all day every day. She leaks to you & every reporter who RT’d your embarrassing portrayal of her as a “survivor” like it’s a Larry David spoof.
She’s cunning. The most cunning of all. You’re celebrating deceit. https://t.co/xipeHb7w8I
— Philippe Reines (@PhilippeReines) March 20, 2019
And even though the video briefly mentioned her foray into “alternative facts,” scenes of Conway in her hometown and reminiscing about old times did not sit well with viewers.
This is so insanely shameless. But you should feel ashamed for this trash.

Gross.

Many are theorizing that CNN is trying to humanize Conway in an effort to hire her after she’s done working for President Trump.
Is CNN planning to hire Kellyanne Conway in the near future? Sure looks like it from all this build up. https://t.co/iJ2ITMk1zV

CNN… are you for real?
Kellyanne Conway puts party before country every day.
She lies almost every day.
She supports and defends Trumps heinous, disgusting behavior. If you hire this partisan hack when she done with Trump… I’m done with you. https://t.co/sRavRPneNz
— Billy Baldwin (@BillyBaldwin) March 20, 2019
I’m a fan of the CNN. But if they hire Conway, I’m boycotting it.
— Dolokhov (@Dolokhov15) March 21, 2019
@CNN cnn, if you hire Conway, I will NEVER watch or read anything produced by you EVER again.
— Lissy DB (@Liseds1) March 21, 2019
Dear @CNN, if you ever hire Kellyanne Conway, you will have millions of viewers who will never watch your network again.
— Teddy Tenenbaum (@teddyt) March 21, 2019
And some viewers even went so far as to compare Conway to Adolf Hitler’s longtime associate Joseph Goebbels for her undying allegiance to Trump.
.@DanaBashCNN Kellyanne does one thing consistently:
LIE
She‘ll “survive” until the very end of the most deceitful WH in history the way Goebbels survived until the very end: In the bunker, next to you know who.
He a “Badass of Berlin” to be celebrated?https://t.co/lqWlZ8A9V5

Do Goebbels next
