Kelsea Ballerini Shines in Roberto Cavalli’s Ray of Gold Print Dress at 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards
Kelsea Ballerini hit the 2024 People’s Choice Country Award red carpet on Thursday in Nashville, shimmering in a metallic Roberto Cavalli dress with yellow, black and white V-stripes in the brand’s Ray of Gold print. The spaghetti-strapped look was cinched at the waist and flowed into a short train in the back.
The four-time Grammy Award-winning country singer accessorized her Roberto Cavalli look with sparkling dangle earrings, metallic gold nails and a ring. She kept her hair simple and slicked back in a low ponytail.

Cavalli died earlier this year at age 83. The Italian designer often “reflected the glitz and high-wattage of his fashion collections of bold animalier prints, bejeweled distressed jeans and sexy dresses that made him a household success,” noted WWD’s Luisa Zargani in a previous report.
The Roberto Cavalli Spring 2025 collection debuted at Milan Ready-to-Wear Fashion Week on Sept. 18. Designed by Fausto Puglisi, the collection was inspired by fisherman of Messina and Moorish architecture.
“Trenchcoats and skirts with fishnet overlays made from brown string added a rough-hued charm, as did minidresses that tinkled with little shells and rope belts or ties on everything from wide-legged trousers to bikini tops and soft, wrinkled dresses with cutouts at the side,” WWD’s Samantha Conti wrote in her review.
Ballerini, who is also a CoverGirl ambassador, is nominated for Female Artist of 2024, Crossover Song of 2024 (“Cowboys Cry Too,” featuring Noah Kahan), Social Country Star of 2024 and Storytelling Song of 2024 (“Sorry Mom”) at the People’s Choice Country Awards. She will also perform “Two Things” from her upcoming album, “Patterns.”
Her boyfriend, actor Chase Stoke, joined Ballerini on the People’s Choice Country Awards red carpet in a brown suit, tan collared shirt and brown boots.
Ballerini and Stokes recently made an appearance at the red carpet premiere of the new medical drama “Doctor Odyssey.” Ballerini has a guest appearance on the ABC show. There, she wore a Blumarine champagne slipdress, metallic open-toed heels and jewelry by Graziela, Octavia Elizabeth, Effy and Bondeye. She also carried a Kate Barton “fishbowl” purse with an image of orange goldfish inside. Stokes wore a brown blazer over a black shirt, jeans, black loafers and clear frame sunglasses.
The second annual People’s Choice Country Awards, held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, are hosted by singer Shania Twain. Miranda Lambert will receive the honorary Country Icon Award, while performers include Kane Brown, Keith Urban and Lady A. The show will be broadcast live on NBC with an option to stream on Peacock.
