Kendrick Lamar Announces 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Performance
The Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show is going to be more than Alright! Kendrick Lamar has been announced as the 2025 performer.
"Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date," the Grammy Award-winning artist said in a statement. "And I'll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one."
The 2025 halftime show, directed by Hamish Hamilton, will be produced by DPS with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers, while pgLang will provide creative direction for the rapper's performance.
Shawn "JAY-Z" Carter, founder of Roc Nation, has hailed Lamar as "a once-in-a-generation artist and performer." "His deep love for hip-hop and culture informs his artistic vision," JAY-Z said of the "Humble" artist. "He has an unparalleled ability to define and influence culture globally. Kendrick’s work transcends music, and his impact will be felt for years to come.”
