Kenny Chesney to return to Columbus for Historic Crew Stadium concert

Country hit machine Kenny Chesney, who has played at Historic Crew Stadium several times in the past, will return to the stadium Aug. 8 with special guests Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker.

Chesney, who is on his "Sun Goes Down" stadium tour, performed at the inaugural Buckeye Country Superfest in 2015. On his 2011 stop at Historic Crew Stadium, Uncle Kracker opened for him.

The native Tennessean has recorded more than 20 albums featuring 40-plus singles in the Top 10 of the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.

Thirty-three of Chesney's singles have been No. 1 hits like "You Had Me From Hello," "Here and Now" and "When the Sun Goes Down" (with Uncle Kracker), as well as "The Good Stuff" and "There Goes My Life," both of which spent seven weeks at the top of the charts.

One of the most popular touring acts in country music, the 56-year-old singer has earned 12 Country Music Association Awards and 11 Academy of Country Music Awards, including four consecutive wins for Entertainer of the Year from 2005 to 2008.
