Kenny Omega Says He’s Not Medically Cleared, Comments On Samoa Joe Being In ‘Like A Dragon’ Game

AEW‘s Kenny Omega provides a brief update while promoting Samoa Joe being featured in a video game.

Former AEW World Champion Samoa Joe was seen in the trailer for “Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii”. This marks the latest crossover between AEW and “Like A Dragon”, as the game sponsored a Street Fight on the November 15, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite. There, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Chris Jericho, and Paul Wight beat Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Brian Cage.

In a tweet, Kenny Omega commented on Samoa Joe being featured in the game. He noted that Joe’s gonna kill you, but hopefully not him. He wrote that he was not medically cleared.

Omega has not wrestled since December 2023 due to diverticulitis, and he underwent surgery. He appeared on the May 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, where The Elite attacked him. There is no word on when he will return to AEW programming.

Kota Ibushi recently posted a picture of himself and Omega training together, and he wrote that they were far from done.
