Kevin Spacey: 'Humbled' actor weeps after being cleared of sex offences against four men
Speaking after the verdict, the Hollywood star said he was grateful to the jury and humbled by the outcome.
Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey has been found not guilty of sexually assaulting four men.
The Hollywood star had tears in his eyes as he was cleared of all offences at Southwark Crown Court on the same day as his 64th birthday.
Speaking after the verdict outside court he said he was "humbled" and "grateful".
The jury panel acquitted him of seven counts of sexual assault, one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent and one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.

Speaking after the verdict, Spacey said outside Southwark Crown Court:

"I imagine that many of you can understand that there's a lot for me to process after what has just happened today.
"But I would like to say that I am enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts carefully before they reach the decision.
"And I am humbled by the outcome today.
"I also want to thank the staff inside this courthouse, the security and all those who took care of us every single day.
"My legal team, Evan Lowenstein and Lucy for being here every day.
"And that's all I have to say for the moment.
"Thank you very much."
