Khloé Kardashian Makes Blunt Confession About Ozempic for Weight Loss
Khloé Kardashian is getting real with her fans about Ozempic.
The 40-year-old reality star discussed the use of Ozempic for weight loss during the latest episode of her family's Hulu show, where she made a bold admission about whether or not she's used the popular drug.
While talking in a confessional during the Thursday, July 11 episode of The Kardashians, Khloé candidly admitted that she "probably would have" given Ozempic a try if she was still looking to lose a significant amount of weight.
Ozempic, a brand name for the drug semaglutide, has become increasingly popular for weight loss purposes, however it is actually intended to treat type 2 diabetes. It works as a once-weekly injection that helps to lower blood sugar.
"When I was bigger, if they had Ozempic, I probably would have tried it, because I tried any other thing," the Good American co-founder, who has long been vocal about her weight loss journey, admitted in Thursday's episode. "I tried any fad weight loss trend, except for the real thing that actually works, and that's a lifestyle change."
But Khloé—who previously hosted Revenge Body and is constantly sharing snippets of her daily workouts—said that she now prioritizes staying healthy and active, rather than just shedding pounds.
"I really wanna encourage healthiness and not about the number on a scale," she stressed, while adding, "I just think people should be active."
"I don't really care what your size is, and you should just be healthy and stronger for yourself," Kardashian continued.
But while Khloé missed out on the Ozempic trend, the same can't be said for a number of other stars in Hollywood, including the likes of Amy Schumer, Sharon Osbourne, Tracy Morgan and more, who've previously admitted to giving the drug a try.
