Kid Cudi reveals engagement to designer Lola Abecassis Sartore: 'Life is wild'
He's no kid anymore: Kid Cudi is ready to walk down the aisle.
The "Pursuit of Happiness" rapper, 40, confirmed Thursday on Instagram that he's engaged to menswear designer Lola Abecassis Sartore, whom he called his fiancée. The couple posed in photos together at the premiere of "Knuckles," the new "Sonic the Hedgehog" streaming series. In the pictures, Sartore was seen wearing a ring.
"This amazing woman makes me so happy, she is everything to me and im so excited to share this news w u all," Cudi wrote on Instagram. "Life is wild, and right when I felt my future was uncertain, it became crystal clear with Lola. Happy Cud in full effect."
Sartore also shared a photo from the "Knuckles" premiere on her Instagram, writing that she "never thought I could love someone this much" and is "so proud to call you my fiancé." In her Instagram Story, she added that the "smiles on our faces" in the photos "says it all!"
"Love you to the moon and back @kidcudi," she wrote.
In a comment on his fiancée's post, Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, wrote, "U have me forever." Ty Dolla $ign was among those to congratulate Cudi, commenting two heart emojis on the rapper's Instagram photos. In 2010, Cudi welcomed a daughter, Vada, from a previous relationship.

The engagement news followed the announcement Tuesday that Cudi has been added to the line-up for the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. "INSANO BOY IS COMIN," Cudi wrote as he shared the Coachella news on Instagram, asking, "Who's coming??" He's slated to perform on Sunday.

The rapper released his latest album, "Insano (Nitro Mega)," in February, which came on the heels of his January album "Insano." In March, Cudi announced his INSANO World Tour, which is scheduled to kick off in June.
Cudi stars as Agent Mason in the "Knuckles" TV series, which is set in the world of the "Sonic the Hedgehog" movies and hits Paramount+ next week, after previously racking up acting credits in films like "X," "House Party" and "Silent Night."
