Kid Rock says Taylor Swift is a Democrat for her career in sexist tweet: 'Good luck girl'
Apparently, Kid Rock isn’t a fan of Taylor Swift’s politics. The outspoken conservative musician took aim at the pop star in a bizarre and sexist tweet on Friday, claiming Swift “wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period.” He added an offensive remark that she will sleep her way through Hollywood.
Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period. And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.

It’s unclear what exactly upset Kid Rock, but Swift made headlines Thursday for talking politics in Vogue. She was criticized during the 2016 presidential for keeping her stance private, although it was believed she supported Hillary Clinton.
“Unfortunately in the 2016 election you had a political opponent who was weaponizing the idea of the celebrity endorsement. He was going around saying, I’m a man of the people. I’m for you. I care about you. I just knew I wasn’t going to help,” Swift explained. “Also, you know, the summer before that election, all people were saying was She’s calculated. She’s manipulative. She’s not what she seems. She’s a snake. She’s a liar.”
Swift was referring to the aftermath of Kim Kardashian “exposing” her on Snapchat.
“These are the same exact insults people were hurling at Hillary. Would I be an endorsement or would I be a liability? Look, snakes of a feather flock together. Look, the two lying women. The two nasty women,” Swift continued. “Literally millions of people were telling me to disappear. So I disappeared. In many senses.”
However, the “Delicate” singer revealed that she realized she needed to be more outspoken after a discussion with singer and friend, Todrick Hall.
“Maybe a year or two ago, Todrick and I are in the car, and he asked me, What would you do if your son was gay?” she recalled. “The fact that he had to ask me . . . shocked me and made me realize that I had not made my position clear enough or loud enough. If my son was gay, he’d be gay. I don’t understand the question.”
“If he was thinking that, I can’t imagine what my fans in the LGBTQ community might be thinking,” she continued. “It was kind of devastating to realize that I hadn’t been publicly clear about that.”
Swift has done just that.
In June, at the beginning of Pride Month, Swift introduced a petition in support of the federal Equality Act. She also shared a letter addressed to Senator Lamar Alexander, Republican of Tennessee, asking him to vote yes on the legislation that would amend the Civil Rights Act to outlaw discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation or gender identity. In it, she condemned Donald Trump, writing, “I personally reject the president’s stance.”
Swift likely rejects Kid Rock’s stance, too.
