Kidnapping? Creepy comments? Why Kylie Jenner took Stormi off Instagram
As the saying goes, one bad apple spoils the bunch — and that’s exactly why you won’t see Stormi Webster on Instagram any time soon. But in this case, it was more than just one bad apple.
Kylie Jenner saddened fans by announcing that she would no longer be posting photos of her daughter’s face on social media. The 20-year-old makeup mogul deleted all her photos of Stormi on Instagram, explaining to one user, “I’m not sharing photos of my girl right now.”
One source tells Yahoo Entertainment that the move came after too many “negative, nasty, creepy comments.”
“She’s so interactive with her fans, so she looks at a lot of her comments [on photos],” an insider close to the family explains. “And while she appreciates how many people write sweet things, there were too many people writing some pretty disturbing things.”

Jenner chose to keep her entire pregnancy a secret, acknowledging her journey days after giving birth on Feb. 1. “My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world,” she explained. “I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free, and healthy way I knew how.”
The Life of Kylie star was open about sharing photos of her little girl in the months that followed … until this weekend.
It’s unclear if there was one comment in particular that scared Jenner enough to change how she posts — the Sun reports that there were kidnapping threats — but boyfriend Travis Scott is following suit. The 26-year-old rapper shared a photo of Stormi on his Instagram story with only her leg visible.
Our insider says Jenner’s social media stance might change in the future, but she’s “definitely taking a break” right now.
