Kim Kardashian Declares a 'Best Sister' After Only One Posts Birthday Wishes for Her

Kim Kardashian celebrated the big 44 on Oct. 21, ringing in her birthday after a glamorous weekend in Los Angeles.

The reality star, who regularly posts photos and videos with her famous siblings on social media, appeared to play favorites for one of her sisters after she shared a sweet tribute to the SKIMS founder on her special day.

Khloé Kardashian posted a carousel of photos with her big sister from vacations, stylish events, and family gatherings. She wrote a long, gushing caption in honor of Kim, calling her “one of the most spectacular and extraordinary humans I know.”

She continued, writing that “with every year, you have gotten stronger but also gentler, wiser, braver, more vocal with your beliefs. You have managed to become kinder and more understanding with every year that has passed by.”

Khloé also said, “Kimberly I feel so honored and privileged that I was blessed with you as my sister and best friend,” before signing off “I love you more than you’ll ever understand.”

Kim responded quickly to the post, writing in the comments “You are the best sister! I’m so grateful to you! Wow this caption. ??????. I love you so much!”

At the time of publication, Kim’s other sisters hadn't posted anything about her birthday on their Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), or TikTok accounts.

Younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner were at the 2024 Academy Museum Gala with Kim over the weekend, where Kendall matched Kim’s old Hollywood hairstyle and Kylie wore a dress from the same spring 1998 Thierry Mugler collection, so perhaps the family celebration started earlier in the week and offline.

Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian Jenner family, posted a sweet tribute to her second oldest daughter, writing a touching message alongside a collection of baby photos of Kim, photos of the two together, as well as pictures of Kim with her children.

“Happy Birthday to my beautiful Kimberly!!! You are truly such a light to everyone who meets you,” said Jenner.

“You are such a huge part of my heart, and I cherish every single precious memory we have ever made. You bring me such happiness and joy and I love you beyond any measure my beautiful daughter,” continued Jenner. She also posted birthday wishes for Kim on her Instagram stories, echoing the sentiments of the post on her main grid.
