FOR KING + COUNTRY to headline ‘Rock the Smokies’ in Dollywood. Here’s how to get tickets
Plan to end your summer at Dollywood with a little music and inspiration. Dollywood’s popular “Rock the Smokies” event returns this August with Grammy-winning duo FOR KING + COUNTRY headlining.
“Rock the Smokies” is an annual contemporary Christian event that “provides an inspirational way for families and church groups to end the summer,” according to Dollywood. This year's event will take place Aug. 19.
FOR KING + COUNTRY will perform at Dolly Parton’s Celebrity Theater in Pigeon Forge. The duo of Australian-born brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone released their latest album, “What Are You Waiting For?” in March.
“Thanks to a diverse group of producers and collaborators, the new album marks a profound and professional growth for the brothers as it reflects the state of the world and their growth as men, fathers, husbands and humans,” a release from Dollywood stated.
Singer Anne Wilson will also perform inside DP’s Theater.
