The singer (whose real name is Mikaela Straus) is the great-great-granddaughter of Macy's department store co-owner Isidor Straus and his wife, Ida. They were aboard the Titanic in 1912 and famously chose to remain together in death. You might remember the heartbreaking scene in the Titanic movie with the old couple — those characters were based on Isidor and Ida.

The five victims of the Titan were British adventurer Hamish Harding, French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, Pakistani business chair Shahzada Dawood, his 19-year-old son Suleman Dawood, and OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush. Stockton was married to Wendy Rush, who — like King Princess — is descended from Isidor and Ida Straus.
