Kit Harington is opening up about whether or not his kids will ever watch their dad battle for the Iron Throne.
The Game of Thrones alum, 37, played John Snow in the series for eight seasons and even met his wife Rose Leslie on set. Nevertheless, the actor revealed that he believes he and Leslie's 12-month-old daughter and 3-year-old son will "never" watch their real-life love story unfold on-screen.
“I don't think they'll wanna watch Game of Thrones,” Harington told E! News at the Aug. 6 premiere of his new show Industry. “I absolutely guarantee you they'll probably never wanna see that show.”

When it comes to his kids viewing his relationship with Leslie develop, Harington said, “I think they'll be deeply uncomfortable.”
He added that he foresees his kids having a type of embarrassed "sadness" surrounding their dad's acting career.
“I don't think they're gonna wanna watch anything I'm in. I really don't," he continued. "I think it's gonna be one of those sadnesses that I'll be like, ‘Hey, look at this thing I was in 20 years ago.’ And they'll be like, ‘Dad no.’”
It's been a year since the actors, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their daughter. A rep for Harington confirmed the news to PEOPLE in July 2023, expressing that the two were "delighted to have welcomed a little girl into the family."

While Leslie and Harington first shared the screen together on season two of Game of Thrones, Leslie, 37, previously told PEOPLE that they met long before they became castmates.
"Kit is a lovely and funny man, and a dear friend. We had known each other before we started working together on Game of Thrones. It was always such a privilege to be working opposite him and such a blessing that we get on in real life because it made our characters more believable," she told PEOPLE in June 2014.
