Kota Ibushi teases his plans for the future.

Ibushi has been absent from AEW since November 2023. He was sidelined with a right tibiofibular ligament tear and a right ankle lateral ligament injury, which he suffered at NOAH The New Year 2024, but he has since returned to the ring for GLEAT and DDT.

In a post on Instagram, Kota Ibushi shared a picture of himself and Kenny Omega standing next to a ring, so it seems like they trained together. He also wrote that they were far from done, and AEW was “next”.

Omega has been out of action since December due to diverticulitis. There is no word on when the former AEW World Champion will return to the ring.
